
LASCOHET Records Exceptional Performance in 2025 WAHEB Examinations

The Lagos State College of Health Technology (LASCOHET), Yaba, has recorded an outstanding academic performance in the 2025 West Africa Health Examinations Board (WAHEB) results for National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) students. The examinations were conducted in June 2025.
According to the results, the School of Environmental Health Technology achieved a remarkable 99% pass rate in the HND category and 97.1% in the ND category, setting a new academic record in the history of the College.
Presenting the results to the Provost and management, the Head of Department, Mr. Seun Yinusa, described the achievement as historic and attributed the success to the strategic leadership and continuous support of the Provost, Professor Raheem Olasupo Akewushola, and the College Management.
Mr. Yinusa commended the enabling environment and visionary academic policies put in place by the College leadership, noting that they were instrumental to the impressive results.
In his remarks, Professor Akewushola expressed delight over the performance, describing it as a reflection of the institution’s commitment to excellence, discipline, and professionalism.
He lauded the dedication of both staff and students and urged them to sustain LASCOHET’s reputation as a leading centre for quality health education and professional training in Nigeria.
