US, Nigeria Partner to Empower Next-Generation Leaders

T The United States, in collaboration with Nigeria, has reaffirmed its commitment to empowering the next generation of leaders, innovators, and change-makers.

According to the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) on X, the Public Diplomacy Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Abuja, Brian Neubert, disclosed this at the 2025 EducationUSA Annual College Fair held in Abuja.

Neubert noted that the Embassy’s EducationUSA team provides free counselling services to guide prospective students through the application process. He further advised eligible students to responsibly maintain their visa status by adhering to U.S. regulations, emphasizing that doing so would allow them to maximize their study experience and return with valuable knowledge to contribute to Nigeria’s development.

The fair, themed “Empowering the Future: Discover American Excellence in Education and Innovation,” brought together representatives from 28 American colleges and universities. It also attracted more than 1,000 Nigerian students eager to explore higher education opportunities in the United States.
