Ogun State Launches OgunLEARN to Deepen Digital Education Transformation

O Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has launched OgunLEARN, the Ogun Learning Enhancement and Academic Resource Network, as part of efforts to strengthen digital learning and reposition education for the future in the state.

Speaking on the initiative, the governor said education remains central to sustainable development and must adapt to modern realities through innovation and technology. The governor highlighted several reforms undertaken by his administration, including full digitalisation of the education system, continuous capacity building for teachers, enhanced Education Management Information Systems (EMIS), school rehabilitation, upgraded laboratories, and the modernisation of technical colleges.

He added that programmes such as Ogun Skills Fund, OgunEduCASH, OgunSchoLAR, OgunREHAB, OgunTEACh, and OgunDiPER, alongside the introduction of Artificial Intelligence education, are positioning Ogun State as a leader in education reform and preparing learners to compete globally.
