FIFA, Dubai Sports Council Launch New Global Football Awards

FIFA and the Dubai Sports Council have formally partnered to introduce a new annual global football awards event aimed at celebrating excellence and innovation in the world’s most popular sport. The partnership was sealed through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the World Sports Summit held in Dubai.
Under the agreement, the two bodies will establish what they described as the only official international football awards dedicated to recognising outstanding achievements both on and off the pitch.
