ASE Committed to Stimulating Human Development Across Spectra — Prof Adedimeji

T The African School of Economics (ASE), Abuja, also known as the Pan-African University of Excellence, has successfully concluded a two-day Capacity Building Training focused on workplace and academic efficiency.

The training, held on September 11 and 12, 2025, was themed “Maximizing Efficiency in the University/Workplace.” It attracted students, civil servants, professionals, and staff of various organizations.

Speaking on the purpose of the initiative, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mahfouz Adedimeji, said the program was part of ASE broader mission of advancing human capital development.

“As part of its commitment to stimulating human development across spectra, the African School of Economics organized this training to build capacity, inspire efficiency, and drive excellence,” he noted.

The sessions covered a range of practical modules designed to improve productivity in academic and professional environments. Participants described the program as impactful and timely, with many calling for future editions to be expanded for broader reach.

For students, the event was particularly memorable as it provided both intellectual enrichment and a fitting close to their inaugural academic session.

“The feedback we received was overwhelming. Everyone loved it, and the students especially enjoyed the experience, which combined rich knowledge with a rich buffet,” Prof. Adedimeji added.

The success of the training has further reinforced ASE’s reputation as a hub of excellence and innovation in higher education across Africa.
