Ogogo Battles Stage 4 Cancer, Daughter Seeks Medical Help

Veteran Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, is reportedly battling stage 4 cancer, with his family urgently seeking medical advice and possible treatment options.

The development came to public attention after his daughter, Kira Taiwo, made an emotional appeal on social media, seeking assistance from individuals with knowledge of specialised treatment options for her father.

According to Kira, doctors treating the veteran actor have reportedly said he can no longer undergo chemotherapy due to his current condition.

She said the family is therefore exploring alternative treatment options, including specialised medical procedures and other possible interventions, to help improve his condition.

Kira stressed that the family was not soliciting financial donations, but was only seeking useful information and recommendations from anyone who might know of a treatment option that could help her father.

“Please we are begging you dad if you know who can treat him. Hospital is saying that they can’t give him chemo. Kindly send me or limataiwo_ a DM. 07031328196 that’s my number. Please we are not begging for money,” she wrote.

The appeal has sparked concern among fans, colleagues and admirers of the veteran actor, who has enjoyed a long and successful career in the Nigerian film industry.
