Not Everything Is Yours to Fix

Why lose sleep over what lies beyond your reach? The sun does not fret over the clouds, and rivers do not argue with stones. If a thing is outside your control, let it be, no anxiety can bend it to your will. And if it is within your control, then act wisely, and release the rest. Worry thrives where clarity is absent. Peace begins the moment you surrender to this truth: what is yours to carry, you will carry; what is not, let it go.
Unfortunately, we have found ourselves in a world full of noise, the most radical thing you can do is choose stillness. Wellness is not accidental, it is cultivated. And happiness is not found in frantic striving or fragile expectations, but in the quiet practice of self-possession. Expect nothing from others, and you protect your joy from betrayal. Place your hope in things eternal, not external. Help doesn’t always come from abroad, it often comes from above, and sometimes, from within.
If you walk your own path, without envy, without waste, without pretense, life will not drain you. Rivalry, greed, and comparison are joy’s slow assassins. Simplicity is not lack, it is liberty. Do things in moderation; spend only what your soul can afford. You don’t need to match anyone’s pace, just maintain your peace. That is a wealth no inflation can touch.
There is no universal map for handling the sharp turns and shark-infested waters of this life. Some rely on faith, others on instinct, others still on wisdom handed down like lanterns in the dark. Whatever compass you choose, let it protect your spark, not snuff it out. Walk away from whatever stirs up bitterness or robs you of your mental sanctuary. Peace is too precious to trade for appearances.
Perhaps most importantly, remember this: You are not built to be everything to everyone, nor are you required to endure what empties you. Joy is a gentle house, keep it swept and guarded. And if you ever get tired, let rest be your rebellion, and calm your crown.
