Nelfund hosts Nassarawa State Deputy Governor to foster educational inclusion

N Nelfund, an agency committed to driving educational inclusion, was honoured to host the Deputy Governor of Nassarawa State, Dr Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe, during a courtesy visit on Monday.

The high-profile meeting, held at the agency’s headquarters, centred around fostering greater collaboration to advance access to education in line with Nelfund’s mandate. Discussions were described as mutually beneficial, with both parties reaffirming their shared commitment to bridging educational gaps in the state and beyond.

Dr Akabe commended Nelfund for its initiatives, particularly the innovative student loan schemes aimed at easing financial barriers to education. He emphasised the importance of partnerships in achieving sustainable development goals, stating, “Education is the cornerstone of development, and working together with agencies like Nelfund is essential to achieving universal access.”
