JAMB Revises 2026 UTME Timetable Days to Exam

T The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced a last-minute adjustment to the timetable for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), just days before the nationwide examination begins.

According to the Board, the revision affects the daily structure of Computer-Based Test (CBT) sessions across accredited centres, while maintaining the existing four-session arrangement from Monday to Thursday.

Four daily CBT sessions maintained

Under the updated schedule, candidates will still sit for four sessions each day:

Session 1: 8:30am – 10:30am

Session 2: 11:00am – 1:00pm

Session 3: 1:30pm – 3:30pm

Session 4: 4:00pm – 6:00pm

Candidates are required to arrive earlier for verification and clearance, with staggered reporting times depending on their assigned sessions.

Friday timetable adjusted

JAMB noted that Friday’s arrangement remains largely the same but includes a reserved slot for Session 3, while Session 4 continues as scheduled.

The Board urged candidates to carefully confirm their assigned exam times and strictly adhere to instructions to ensure smooth conduct of the examination nationwide.

Strict compliance emphasized

JAMB reiterated that punctuality and compliance with examination guidelines remain compulsory, warning that failure to adhere to instructions could affect candidates’ participation.

The Board also reminded candidates of its strict rules regarding examination halls, including a list of prohibited items, as part of efforts to curb malpractice.

The 2026 UTME is expected to begin this week across approved CBT centres nationwide.
