FG Unveils Education Communication Strategy 2025–2027

T The Federal Ministry of Education has launched its Communication Strategy (2025–2027), a comprehensive plan to strengthen transparency, accountability, and public trust in Nigeria’s education sector.

The initiative was officially unveiled in Abuja by the Honourable Minister of State for Education, Prof. Suwaiba Sa’id Ahmad, who described the strategy as a central pillar of reform.

According to the Ministry, the three-year framework is anchored on visibility, coordination, engagement, and resilience. It is designed to ensure that every milestone — from technical and vocational centres in Kano, to digital classrooms in Enugu, to girl-child scholarships in Sokoto — is heard, seen, and felt nationwide.

By deploying transparent dashboards, grassroots sensitisation and strong media partnerships, the Ministry hopes to deepen citizen awareness, build broad-based support for reforms, encourage community participation, and secure the long-term sustainability of its programmes.

The Minister stressed that communication is not a side activity but an essential instrument of reform. “Nigerians not only need but also have the right to know what we are doing to transform the sector,” she said, reaffirming the government’s commitment to accountability.

The Ministry expressed gratitude to its development partners, particularly the FCDO-PLANE programme, for their support in achieving this milestone.

“The Renewed Hope Agenda has given us vision. NESRI has given us structure. And now, this Communication Strategy gives us a voice. The journey of transformation continues,” the statement added.
