Energy Transition Plan: VP Osinbajo Departs For U.S. Seek Global Partnerships

N Nigeria’s Vice President professor Yemi Osinbajo, has left Abuja for the United States of America to seek for global partnerships and support for Nigeria’s recently launched Energy Transition Plan.

The Vp and his team departed Abuja on Wednesday the 30th of August, 2022
Prof Osinbajo is leading Nigeria’s Energy Transition Implementation Working Group (ETWG) on the U.S. mission to promote the plan and secure global support from the U.S. government, the private sector, and other development partners.

According to the statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity to Vice President, Laolu Akande, the VP is expected to meet U.S. Vice President, Kamala Harris; U.S. Secretary of Energy, Jennifer Granholm; Secretary of Treasury, Janet Yellen, and President of World Bank Group, David Malpass, among others.
