Pastor Jimmy Odukoya Introduces New Wife to Fountain of Life Congregation
The Senior Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church, Lagos, Pastor Jimmy Odukoya, has introduced his new wife, Pastor Mo Odukoya, to members of the congregation, publicly confirming his remarriage.
Odukoya made the announcement during the church’s Sunday service on November 1, 2026, at its headquarters in Ilupeju, Lagos State.
The introduction followed a social media post he shared on Saturday, October 31, featuring a photograph of two hands wearing wedding rings with the caption, “To New Beginnings.”
The photograph had generated speculation among his followers about his marital status, with several people sending congratulatory messages.
Addressing the congregation on Sunday, Odukoya explained that he had spent some time alone since assuming leadership of the church before finding a new partner.
Making reference to the biblical account of Adam and Eve, he spoke about finding a suitable companion before formally presenting his wife.
“Ever since I became your pastor, I was doing this walk of life alone, and you know, the Bible said it is not good; it said I will find somebody suitable,” he said.
He subsequently invited his wife forward, introducing her as Pastor Mrs Odukoya and the church’s new First Lady.
The congregation welcomed the couple with applause as Odukoya escorted his wife to the altar.
In her brief remarks, Pastor Mo expressed happiness at joining the church and standing alongside her husband.
“Good morning, family. It’s my pleasure and honour to be here and stand alongside my husband, the senior pastor of The Fountain of Life Church,” she said.
The service also featured prayers and blessings from Pastor Tunde Bakare, General Overseer of The Citadel Global Community Church, who joined the couple at the altar.
Bakare disclosed that the couple had their wedding in the United States, although he said he was unaware of the exact date of the ceremony.
He prayed for the success of their marriage, asking God to strengthen their union and guide the church under Odukoya’s leadership.
He also expressed confidence that the couple’s home would be built on peace, stability and love.
Odukoya was previously married to Oluwakemi Banjoko in March 2013 in London. Their marriage produced two children before the couple separated.
He became the senior pastor of The Fountain of Life Church following the death of his father, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, on August 7, 2023.
Pastor Taiwo co-founded the church with his late wife, Pastor Bimbo Odukoya.
The November 1 introduction marks the public unveiling of Odukoya’s new wife to the congregation following his social media announcement a day earlier.
