2027: Ogun APC Candidate, Abiodun Rally Residents Behind Tinubu’s Re-election
The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Ogun State, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, and Governor Dapo Abiodun have called on residents to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in the 2027 general elections.
The appeal was made during the inauguration of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement in Ogun State, where Adeola commended the President’s administration for what he described as its people-oriented projects and programmes.
Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, pledged his support for Tinubu’s second-term ambition, expressing his commitment to mobilising residents across the state to support the President in next year’s election.
He said the administration’s projects and policies were worthy of recognition and urged residents to sustain their support for the President.
Also speaking at the event, Governor Abiodun called on Ogun residents to vote for Tinubu in the forthcoming presidential election, saying their support would enable them to continue benefiting from the policies and programmes of the Federal Government.
The governor, who was represented by his deputy, Noimot Salako-Oyedele, conveyed the administration’s appeal during the inauguration.
The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement is a grassroots political mobilisation platform established to promote support for Tinubu’s re-election through direct engagement with residents and communities.
The movement is expanding its activities across states as political parties and support groups intensify preparations for the 2027 general elections.
Adeola’s participation in the Ogun inauguration comes as the APC steps up its mobilisation efforts ahead of the elections, with the senator expected to lead the party’s governorship campaign in the state.
