APC TO INAUGURATE TINUBU’S 2027 PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN COUNCIL WEDNESDAY
The council will be inaugurated at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, with President Bola Tinubu listed as chairman.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) will inaugurate the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu/APC 2027 Presidential Campaign Council on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
According to an inauguration notice, the ceremony is scheduled to begin at 11am.
The notice, titled PBAT/APC 2027 Presidential Campaign Council, lists President Tinubu as chairman of the council, with Senator Kashim Shettima, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda and other party leaders occupying various leadership positions.
The council’s leadership also includes Senator George Akume as Secretary to the Government of the Federation, while Senator Abdullahi Umar Ganduje is listed as Director-General.
Other officials named in the notice include Deputy Directors-General responsible for mobilisation, administration, logistics, operations, election planning and coordination.
The document also lists zonal campaign coordinators, state coordinators and advisers expected to support the council’s activities across the country.
In a separate statement, the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, said the list of members of the various directorates expected to attend the inauguration would be released shortly.
