Muslim Community Leader Khadija Patel Receives British Citizen Award 2026
Muslim community leader and youth advocate Khadija Patel has been honoured with the British Citizen Award 2026 in recognition of her outstanding contributions to women, young people and the wider community.
Patel received the prestigious honour during a ceremony held at the Palace of Westminster in London, celebrating individuals who have made significant impacts through community service and voluntary work.
The award recognises Patel’s years of dedication to empowering women and supporting young people through community-based initiatives.

Reacting to the recognition, Patel dedicated the award to the volunteers, supporters and members of the community who have contributed to the growth and success of KRIMMZ Girls Youth Club, the organisation she founded.
She said the achievement reflected the collective efforts of everyone who has supported the club over the years, acknowledging their commitment to serving and uplifting the community.
