S Social media was set abuzz following viral claims that Tanzanian singer Juma Jux’s luxury boutique, reportedly valued at over $780 million, had been burnt during the recent political unrest in Tanzania.

However, Juma Jux’s wife, Priscilla Ojo, has refuted the widespread reports, clarifying that the store was not burnt but rather looted amid the chaos that followed the country’s tense presidential election.

In her statement, Priscilla urged the public to disregard the false reports circulating online, emphasizing that while the boutique did suffer losses, it was not destroyed by fire.

Neither Juma Jux nor Priscilla has issued any further comment on the matter.
