
Makinde Inaugurates Oyo Judicial Service Commission

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, on Tuesday afternoon, inaugurated the Oyo State Judicial Service Commission, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to strengthening the justice system in the state.
The commission will be chaired by the Chief Judge of Oyo State, Hon. Justice Iyabo Yerima. Other members include the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Abiodun Aikomo; Hon. Justice Tajudeen M. Abdulganiyu, President of the Customary Court of Appeal; Mrs. M. O. Abdulganiyu (Secretary); Barr. Musibau Adetunji; Chief Joshua Abioye; Chief Moyosore Ajani; and Barr. Wahab Adedigba.
While addressing the members, Governor Makinde emphasized the critical role the commission plays in ensuring effective justice delivery in the state. He said:
> “The Judicial Service Commission plays a very important role in the administration of justice, and so, I enjoined the newly inaugurated members to carry out their responsibilities to the best of their abilities.”
The governor expressed confidence that the newly inaugurated members would uphold integrity, fairness, and professionalism in discharging their duties.
