BREAKING: Tinubu Orders Security Chiefs to Hunt Down Terrorists Behind Kasuwan Daji Attack

P President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has ordered an immediate and coordinated manhunt for the terrorists responsible for the deadly attack on Kasuwan Daji, directing Nigeria’s top security leadership to ensure the perpetrators are swiftly brought to justice.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the President said he has instructed the Minister of Defence, the Chief of Defence Staff, the Service Chiefs, the Inspector-General of Police, and the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS) to track down and neutralise those behind the attack.

“These terrorists have tested the resolve of our country and its people. They must face the full consequences of their criminal actions,” Tinubu declared. “No matter who they are or what their intent is, they must be hunted down.”

The President warned that anyone found aiding, abetting, or enabling terrorist activities would also be prosecuted, stressing that there would be no safe haven for criminal elements threatening national peace and security.

He further directed security agencies to prioritise the urgent rescue of all abducted victims and intensify operations around vulnerable communities, particularly those located near forests, which have increasingly become hotspots for criminal activities.

“I have also directed that all abducted victims be urgently rescued and that security operations around vulnerable communities, especially near forests, be intensified,” he said.

Calling for national unity, Tinubu urged Nigerians to stand together in the face of terrorism, describing the attackers as “monsters” who must be confronted collectively.

“These times demand our humanity. We must stand together as one people and confront these monsters in unison. United, we can and must defeat them and deny them any sanctuary,” the President stated, adding that the government remains committed to restoring peace to affected communities.

He concluded by expressing condolences to the families of the victims, praying for the repose of the souls of those who lost their lives in the attack.
“May the souls of the departed rest in peace,” Tinubu said.
