A prominent traditional ruler in Ogun State, the Baale of Araromi-Oja Coker, High Chief Julius Folarin in the Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State, is dead.
Borno in 1940, according to several historical sources, Baale Folarin died at the age of 84 years on Sunday, October 20, 2024. He was laid to rest on Monday, October 21, 2024 at his residence at Coker Town, Ifo, according to his wish, after a well-attended funeral service at the African Cathedral Church, Coker, Ifo.
The monarch is survived by his wife, Chief Mrs Modupe Folarin, a business tycoon; several children and grandchildren.
The final burial ceremony is scheduled for November 01, 2024 with a church service at the African Cathedral Church, Coker, Ifo, followed by reception of guests at his residence, Baale Folarin’s House, Coker Town, Ifo.
